GWS Membership 2023 - 24

Welcome to Gower Women's Surf Society! 

Our vision is to connect like-minded women surfers around the Gower. We are striving to build an inclusive surf community and encourage a sense of fun and playfulness around the water. 

We’re kindly asking for participants to become members after they’ve attended 2 of our events. We are doing this to ensure our members are safe and fully insured when in the water with us, be that on Gower or beyond. By taking out a membership with us, you’ll automatically become a member of Wales’ National Governing Body, the Welsh Surfing Federation.

This will provide you with third party insurance in the water - please see full details on their website. Once we have processed your membership, the WSF will email you with your individual membership number and welcome email. You will then be able to access your profile on their website. When you've completed the membership form and paid then you're all set. Once a month (starting end of April) we'll send out welcome emails and welcome packs in the post - this will have all the links to the discount codes 🤑.

Membership cost: £15 per annum. 

We also have a pay it forwards scheme. We don't want the membership fee to be a hurdle for anyone so please get in touch if the cost of this is a barrier for you.

Please be aware that membership years run from July 1st - June 30th. You are able to purchase a membership at any point in the year, but please be aware that due to insurance purposes, you will be required to repurchase in June of that year.
